Sam Cooper, Director

BA (Arch) Dip Arch, RIBA


Sam has over 10 years experience in architecture and building design. He studied at Sheffield University, Brighton University before gaining professional qualification from Westminster University. After working as Project Architect with leading architects Jestico + Whiles, Sam set up E2 Architecture + Interiors in 2007 with the aim of fusing environmental principles with well considered modern design.  Sam excels in bridging the disciplines of design and architecture, alongside technical skills that enable him to lead a project from concept through to completion. Since qualifying Sam has lectured and tutored at the Universities of Kent and London South Bank architecture schools.

 


Christian Pinchin

BA (Arch) Dip Arch, RIBA


Prior to being made a director at E2 Architecture & Interiors Christian gained employed experience working for Pringle Brandon, Broadway Malyan and Alan Camp Architects. Christian has picked up experience working in London, Hertfordshire, Brighton and Sydney, Christian before making the decision to set up his own company, Unit One Architects Ltd in May 2007. Unit One Architects Ltd. was set up to provide architectural and consultancy services to serve the residential, commercial & development sector clients.

 

Christian also has first-hand experience as a property developer working with Reve Developments Ltd and therefore has experience of project management, bank funding, cost planning and profit analysis. Christian can therefore help clients achieve the maximum yield for a given site by helping to design the right economic solution for a site as well as the providing highly designed and technical architectural solutions.


 

Dan Fisher, Architectural Assistant

Dip Construction


Dan has over six years experience in building technology and design. Having gained a National Diploma in Construction Technology in 2006, Dan has a wealth of experience in the areas of construction, renewable energy, surveying, graphic detailing, building technology and bespoke design. Having established DJF Draughting Ltd in 2007 with the aim to become a Freelance Architectural CAD Technician, Dan was able to work on a variety of projects in order to gain freelance recognition. He joined E2 in 2009 as Architectural Assistant.



Phillip Burch, Freelance Designer

BA (Hons) Architectural Studies


Phillip has over 10 years experience in interior design both nationally and internationally, with proven ability to design and implement award-winning designs. In 1999 Phillip joined Ted Baker as in-house Senior Designer, working on the design of individually bespoke stores, project management, drawing packages, site surveying, budgeting, and brand communication. Following this, Phillip joined Zebra Projects in 2007 as Senior Designer for the Topman account, working on the design and management for stores in New York and London. Since joining E2 as Freelance Designer in 2009, Phillip has worked on a number of projects including a residential library in Holland Park, London.
 


Thomas Wensing, Architect

MA (Arch) MSc ARB

 

With over nine years experience, Thomas’ expertise lies in modern contemporary design and historical, conservation buildings. He studied at Delft University and graduated as a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design, on a Fulbright Scholarship, from Columbia University in 2005. Prior to joining E2, Thomas was a partner at MELD and Studio Seventi Architects, where he worked on a series of office conversions as well as residential designs for private clients. Whilst in New York, Thomas worked at Bogue Trondowski Architects, working on a penthouse on Ninth Avenue and the renovation of a series of log cabins in Caribou County Idaho. Prior to his stay in the States, Thomas worked for Jo Coenen & Co Architekten in Amsterdam and Architecten aan de Maas in Rotterdam. Since 2006, Thomas has been actively involved in architectural education teaching and now teaches part-time at the University of Kent.
