Construction and finishing of 42 and 44 Moreton Street is nearing completion. E2 designed and managed the roof extensions and interior overhaul to the two early Victorian properties in the Pimlico conservation area. Both neighbours run their boutique shops at ground and basement level and will live above the shops. An interconnecting door on the south facing roof terraces has negated the need for a secondary escape stair or sprinklers. ‘Peta Smyth Antique Textiles’ of 42 Moreton Street had their grand opening exhibition and used the whole house to display the amazing collection of 18th century embroideries pictured.
